The advantage of Alkaline phenol-formaldehyde: Alkaline phenol-formaldehyde resin has good high-temperature behavior that can guarantee the precision of casting, and overcome some flaw appeared by other technology at the same time, such as burnt-on-sand, stripe, rag and so on. The alkaline phenol-formaldehyde resin do not content N, P, S and other elements which is harmful to casting.

Sand: resin: curing agent = 100 (1.2-2.0): (0.2-0.25)
(weight ratio)
Use Method:
1. Mixing sand: To add curing agent into sand to mix for 10s, then add alkaline phenol-formaldehyde resin for 10s. It is better to use immediately after mixing well. If operator do not use high speed sand mixer, operator should extend sand mixing time.
2. Should choose curing agent based on casting specification and environment temperature.
Considerations:
1、You had better add curing agent first, then adding resin
when Mixing sand.
2、The curing agents are esters curing agent. Therefore, the
additive amount couldn’t change the curing time. The curing time is subject to
the model of curing agent.
3、Should be kept in a cool place, heat-proof,
anti-exposure. Store time should not be too long as it will lead to increase
the viscosity, change the using characteristic.
4、Prevent contacting with the skin, if contact with skin
should be flushed with plenty of water.
